At Island Charters, cruising

located in Sidney on the doorstep of the islands. We offer a variety
of options for your holiday on board from u-drive to skippered by the
week, in additions to day charters and dinner cruises.
***Bareboat or U-drive
Charters***
Cruise the beautiful waters of the San Juan and Gulf Islands in the
comfort and luxury of a 48 foot Gulf Commander pilothouse sedan. Designed
by Ed Monk, Senior her distinctive lines are admired around the Pacific
Northwest. This vessel is equipped with twin engine diesel cats for
a economical cruise consuming approximately five gallons per hour at
nine to ten knots. Other features include an invertor, generator, propane
stove, large refrigerator, microwave, TV and VCR. Piloting is easy as
Lady Jay boasts the latest in electronics and navigational equipment.
She has two staterooms forward, one featuring a king sized berth, the
other has twin sized bunks. The leather sofa-bed in the salon sleeps
two persons.
***Skippered Cruises***
Island Charters offers those who would prefer to leave the navigation
and piloting to someone else the very chance to do so with the option
of "all inclusive" charter crewed with Captain and Cook. Book a day,
a weekend, a week or more. You choose the time and destination and just
enjoy!
***Standard Equipment***
Includes- VHF radio, GPS, auto pilot, compass, dinghy, tide tables,
dividers, parallel rulers, charts, tool kit, boat hook, all manuals,
crab trap/line, bedding, towels, linens, pillows, dishes and utensils
included in full galley, cooler, TV/VCR, cassette, stern line, first
aid kit and a flashlight.
***Departures and Returns***
If you are arriving by air or the ferry we would be happy to provide
transportation to and from the airport or ferry dock and if you arrive
by car we can arrange for free parking while you are away. If you are
chartering U-drive a sea trial with our Captain is required to show
you how all the systems operate, ensure you have all the necessary charts
and to check your handling of the yacht. Returning from your U-drive
charter is easy...allow enough time to clean the boat or if you prefer
have our staff clean it for you at a cost of $75.00.
***Rates***
- U-drive - $4400.00 per week Can ($3000 US)....plus insurance and fuel - Daily
- with Captain and Cook - $800.00...plus food and fuel.
